Hello ladies & fellow models!
My name is Diane Capozzi & I’m a very proud 40 year old model. I recently competed in a modeling reality show for women over 35. “She’s Got the Look” chronicles a nation-wide model search resulting in 10 contenders coming to live together in Los Angeles as we compete for a second chance at our dream of modeling.
I’ve tried modeling off & on for several years. Since entering my 30s, I have finally found a confidence & extreme passion I never had. I know I have something unique to offer the industry as I am sure you do.
Through experiences in the industry & on the show, I realized as mature women, we have so much more to offer than the younger models because we have so many more life experiences to pull from our memory. We can take the emotions from our life experiences & apply that mood, energy, expression to a photo shoot, commercial, or show/movie set.
I think as models at our age, we possess more than just outward beauty, we have the complete package. We are articulate, poised, elegant, & confident. We, as mature models, have the ability to change the perception of what the ideal age & body type a model should be.
You must be relentless. I am living proof that anything that is worthwhile, is worth the hard work & dedication. Don’t take no for an answer. If someone says no or closes the door in your face, keep trying. If you are passionate about your dreams & goals & truly believe in yourself, then you will succeed. No one will ever convince me to stop pursuing my modeling career & goals because of my age. I hope you will stay persistent & continue in your pursuit of modeling.
